Well i cheated.
Now if you recall, I promised as I entered UW that I would not focus solely on zoology. An Interdisciplinary Program is what they call it. Well I cheated. Let's take a look at some of my work in non-science, non-bird classes.
In Frances McCue's Honors class titled: Introduction to Music, Literature, and Culture of Morocco I wrote a 13 page paper on Barbary lions from the perspective of architecture and I sent study abroad students away with a guide to common birds in Morocco with each bird telling their own narrative.

In Bob Pavia's Honors class on Natural Disaster Science, specifically oil spills, I wrote an 18 page story about Lucy Loo and Lucy the Loon with an all inclusive scientific methodology on oiled bird response.
For my Global Science and Climate class, I wrote my final paper on global warming's effect on migrating bird phenology (response to seasons).
